i can’t overstate how impressed i am with this XTRAL bluetooth hub. it’s a transciever and a hi-fi DAC all at once. it uses aptX HD as the bluetooth protocol where available, which isn’t truly lossless like sony’s LDAC codec but supports the wireless equivalent of 24-48 audio resolution, which is closer than i or you can tell with most recordings. i use it to stream vinyl to my expensive cans while i clean the house. i usually leave it plugged in, but there’s a meaty battery life if you find yourself on the go.

the package being sold here includes all of the cables you need for transmission and/or receipt, including fiber optic, AUX & RCA. the DAC supports aptX LL (low latency) for TV watching, which i don’t really do and didn’t test, but i’m sure it works fine and it’s an attractive feature for most!!

the only real con i have is that it’s very light and feels like it’s made of cheap plastic. it LOOKS and WORKS great, and mine’s not moving from my stereo, so i don’t care, but i can’t guarantee this will survive in a pocket as a daily drive (and frankly i suspect it won’t).

overall, a solidly recommended purchase. i only use it for one of its myriad functions and still feel like i got more than my money’s worth.
