This HUB/SSD enclosure has been a valuable upgrade to use with my laptop. My previous hub stopped working so I bought this one after searching on Amazon. This one I jam packed with features. I am super happy with this product. Pros: -Provides a single UCB-C connection to computer, freeing up the remaining ports on your computer. From this one USB-C connection comes two USB3.1 ports, a full sized SD card slot, a microSD card slot (btw you can only use one slot at a time unfortunately), a USB-C PD port that provides up to 100 watts of charging power, a 4K HDMI port, and best of all, at the end is a USB-C/3.1 10 GB port. This lets me daisy chain additional devices like another external SSD or even another HUB if I need the connections. I used another external SSD this way and it worked flawlessly. I did not try an additional HDMI so I cannot say if that will work. -Enclosure is made of 100 percent aluminum so it is strong and durable. -Box comes with all screws needed (I even had a few extra) to screw a M.2 SSD into place and also screws to close up the back panel. A small screwdriver is also included. Some small rubber pads are included to cushion the enclosure when placed on a table too. -All ports except the USB-C expansion port are located on one side of the enclosure. This prevent having wires all over the place because they don’t plug into both sides. Cons: -To access the SSD you have to remove the screws from the back panel so quick swaps of the internal SSD are not possible. -The included USB-C interface wire between enclosure and computer is thick so it does not flex super easily. The device often lies on my desk wherever the wire places it.
